The MK Flexible Wiring System comprises of a set of standard components, which can be combined in a number of ways to suit any construction technique. Be it an On Site installation, a fully Off Site installation, or more likely a combination of the two.
These are typical examples of how the MK Flexible Wiring System can be incorporated into your construction process
Timber frame - Pre Wired Ceiling Casettes
By pre-wiring ceiling casettes, the majority of the first fix can be carried out in the factory. This leaves the cables to be taken down the walls and the 2nd fix to be completed On Site.
Steel frame - Pre Wired Walls
Pre-wired walls allow the 2nd fix to be completed Off Site, all that remains On Site is a simple connection between the walls and the ceiling cassettes
Volumetric - Pre Wired Units
POD's; kitchen / bathroom or complete units can be prewired in the factory. Connectors can be positioned between the units, to ease On Site connectivity.
On Site - Traditional installation
The MK Flexible Wiring System can be used to replace any traditional installation. The installation will take place On Site in a tradional 1st/2nd fix manner. Many of the benefits of the system will be realised with this type of installation.
